Everything I've ever read says that they do wear them. I think in the case of Maj. Jones, it's just a blue suit that matches his coveralls. If you freeze the video in just the right place, you can see the hose hanging off the left side.

And a little image enhancement shows the zipper down the side of the leg.

Good eye.

My father was an avionics and hydraulics maintenance chief for a Marine squadron of FA-18s, so I did a bit of growing up on the flightline. I never interacted with Air Force pilots until I went to Afghanistan. And then it was only by voice telling them where to blow shit up.
